  • Retail, Hospitality, Leisure Support Grant of £18,500

These additional grants will need to comply with the European Union's State Aid rules.

Previous guidance

In addition £10,000 grants will be available for small businesses in receipt of the Small Business Bonus Scheme or Rural Relief, and £25,000 grants will be available for hospitality, leisure and retail properties with a rateable value between £18,000 and £51,000.

Rates relief

All non-domestic properties in Scotland will get a 1.6% rates relief. This relief effectively reverses the change in poundage for 2020-21.

You do not need to apply for this relief and it will be applied to your bill by your local council.

You will need to apply for the Grants to your local council. Perth and Kinross Council link to apply for the grant can be found using this link:

It will be possible to apply for the grants from 24 March 2020 and they will be available to 31 March 2021.
